Boldwood is delighted to announce the acquisition of sixteen more authors, bringing the total number of writers on its list to 167. 

Included in the list are the chart-topping authors Fiona Gibson and Linda Green, alongside bestselling women’s fiction writers Celia Anderson and Karen King – both of whom are turning to golden years fiction for Boldwood. Joining the psychological thriller line-up is bestselling Amanda Brittany with Sarah Bonner and Tam Barnett contributing their new darkly comic capers to the list. Bringing some sunshine to Boldwood are Alison Roberts and Victoria Springfield with their ‘wish you were here’ novels, while Renita d’Silva and Maisie Thomas are delivering wonderful historical fiction – set in India and wartime Manchester respectively. 

As Boldwood builds its romance list it is welcoming USA Today bestsellers Amy Andrews and Kelly Jamieson, alongside Christy McKellen and Olivia Spring with their sexy romcoms and Rachael Stewart for her Billionaire series. All authors have been contracted on multi-book deals and will be published in every format simultaneously in all English-language territories. 

To further enhance the Boldwood editorial team, the company is delighted to welcome Victoria Britton as Editorial Director. She joins from Severn House and spent her earlier publishing career at Mills & Boon, managing a substantial portfolio of bestselling authors across all the Harlequin lists. At Boldwood she will be charged with acquiring across the commercial fiction genres with a particular focus on the action adventure and thriller area. She says: ‘My time at Severn House has been an absolute joy and I will miss my colleagues there. But I am thrilled to be joining the fabulous, award-winning team at Boldwood. Celia Anderson is a top ten bestselling author of women’s fiction. Previously published by Harper Collins, she is now turning her hand to uplifting golden years fiction and her first book for Boldwood, Life Begins at 50!, is published in July 2024.

Amy Andrews is the award-winning, USA Today bestselling, Australian author of contemporary romance novels. Her first sports romance for Boldwood will be published in September 2024, followed by the start of her Undercover Billionaire series.

Tam Barnett is a journalist, living in London. His first book, How To Get Away With Murder, a darkly comic thriller set on the Wirral, will be published by Boldwood in January 2025.

Sarah Bonner is the author of several bestselling psychological thrillers. Previously published by Hodder & Stoughton, her first hilariously twisted novel of female revenge for Boldwood, How to Slay at Work, will be published in September 2024.

Amanda Brittany is a bestselling author of psychological thrillers including Her Last Lie. Previously published by HQ and Joffe Books, her first Boldwood title, Now You Are Mine, will be published in September 2024.

Renita d’Silva is an award-winning author of historical fiction, often set partly in India, where she is from. Previously published by Bookouture, her first book with Boldwood, The Secret Keeper, will be published in August 2024.

Fiona Gibson writes bestselling and brilliantly funny novels about the craziness and messiness of family life. Previously published by Avon, her first book with Boldwood, ‘Tis the Damn Season, will be published in September 2024.

Linda Green is the million copy Sunday Times bestselling author of eleven novels including The Last Thing She Told Me. Previously published by Quercus, her first book with Boldwood will be published in March 2025.

Kelly Jamieson is a USA Today bestselling author of over fifty romance novels. She will write sports romance for Boldwood, the first of which will be published in January 2025.

Karen King is the internationally bestselling author of psychological thrillers and women’s fiction. Alongside her thrillers, published by Bookouture, she will write golden years fiction for Boldwood, the first of which will be published in March 2025.

Christy McKellen is the author of provocative and sexy romance novels that have sold over half a million copies worldwide. Previously published by Mills & Boon, her first novel for Boldwood, Three’s a Crowd, is published in June 2024.

Alison Roberts is the author of over one hundred romance novels for Mills & Boon. Joining Boldwood to write ‘wish you were here’ fiction set in the South of France, her first, Falling for Provence, will be published in September 2024.

Olivia Spring is a bestselling self-published author of contemporary women’s fiction and romantic comedies. Her first sexy romcom for Boldwood, The One That Got Away, will be published in October 2024.

Victoria Springfield writes contemporary ‘wish you were here’ evocative women’s fiction set in Italy. Previously published by Orion, her first book with Boldwood, An Italian Island Secret, will be published in January 2025.

Rachael Stewart is a bestselling romance author, previously writing for Mills & Boon. Her first book of the two Billionaire series that she has signed with Boldwood will be published in May 2025.

Maisie Thomas is the bestselling author of the Railway Girls novels, published by Penguin. She will begin a new saga series for Boldwood, set in wartime Manchester, the first of which will be published in April 2025.
