Carly Graf joined the San Francisco Examiner early in June 2020 after working as a city reporter for the Napa Valley Register for six months. She is a 2021 Center for Health Journalism California Fellow. Previously, she reported for the Buenos Aires Times in Argentine as a reporting fellow for three months. She also has been a contributing editor to South Side Weekly, assistant editor for Outside magazine and editorial assistant at Shape magazine. She earned a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in international politics from Georgetown University.
