Seven more authors to Boldwood as the company passes the milestone of 5 million copies sold
Boldwood is delighted to announce the acquisition of seven more authors – bringing the total number of writers on the list to 67.
The seven new authors represent the very best in commercial fiction, from bestselling women’s fiction authors Helen Rolfe and Samantha Tonge to the mistress of cosy mysteries Catherine Coles via the much-loved Yorkshire saga writer Chrissie Walsh. The company is also excited to welcome the chart-topping thriller author Debbie Howells who is turning to writing women’s fiction for the first time for Boldwood, alongside Tracey Emerson who will continue to write her brilliantly reviewed psychological thrillers. To complete the line-up there is historical fiction set in war-torn Europe from the debut US author Erin Litteken. All authors have been contracted on multi-book deals and will be published in every format simultaneously in all English-language territories.
Amanda Ridout Founder and CEO comments: ‘We are thrilled to be welcoming seven more brilliant authors to the Boldwood list as we reach another milestone of 5 million books sold, across all formats, in all parts of the world. This comes against the background of winning the RNA Publisher of the Year – a very pleasing achievement for a company not yet three years old. And we continue to innovate with interesting partnerships – we are about to launch an audio book club with Yeo Valley, the UK’s largest organic dairy brand, which will extend the consumer reach for our fast-growing audio titles. It is certainly an exciting time for the company.’
Boldwood’s latest additions to their author list are attached with biographical and title detail.
