Boldwood is delighted to announce the acquisition of fourteen more authors – bringing the total number of writers on its list to 136. Included amongst them are two internationally bestselling Irish authors – Claire Allan, the hugely successful psychological thriller writer, and Claudia Caroll, the chart-topping women’s fiction author. Alongside them are the bestselling romantic fiction writers Rebecca Raisin and Holly Hepburn – the latter is writing her first cosy mystery series for Boldwood – the romantic comedy author Victoria Walters; Kate Galley with her uplifting ‘golden years’ novels and Louise Guy who writes issue-based bestselling women’s fiction.

Bringing their extraordinary historical fiction to Boldwood is bestselling author Rachel Burton, debut novelist Rachel Sweasey, saga writer May Ellis and Emma Orchard with a series of regency romps. Bestselling psychological thriller writers Natasha Boydell and Joanne Ryan, alongside Stephanie Harte and her gritty gangland thrillers, complete the list. All authors have been contracted on multi-book deals and will be published in every format simultaneously in all English-language territories.

The Latest Boldwood Authors

Claire Allan is the internationally bestselling author of several psychological thrillers, including Her Name Was Rose. Previously published by Avon, she lives in Derry, Northern Ireland. Boldwood also publish her women’s fiction under the name Freya Kennedy. Her first thriller with Boldwood will be published in May 2024.

Natasha Boydell is the bestselling author of psychological thrillers, previously published by Bloodhound Books. She lives in North London and her first book with Boldwood, The Fortune Teller, will be published in February 2024.

Rachel Burton is the author of several bestselling historical romances, including The Last Party at Silverton Hall. Most recently published by Aria, she lives in Leeds and her first book with Boldwood, The Butterfly Garden, will be released in July 2024.

Claudia Carroll is a Dublin-based bestselling author, actor and broadcaster. Her contemporary romances were most recently  published by Zaffre, but she is now turning her hand to multi-generational women’s fiction for Boldwood. The first novel for them will be published in May 2024.

May Ellis has written contemporary romances and YA fiction, but she is now writing saga fiction – inspired by the real-life stories of the Clarke’s factory girls. She lives in Somerset and the first in her wartime series will be published in March 2024.

Kate Galley is the author of uplifting golden years fiction, including The Second Chance Holiday Club. Previously published by Aria, and a mobile hairdresser in her spare time, her first novel with Boldwood  will be published in May 2024.

Louise Guy is the author of issue-based bestselling women’s fiction with domestic drama at its heart. Previously published by Lake Union, she lives in Australia. Her first novel with Boldwood Books, will be published in February 2024.

Stephanie Harte is the bestselling ganglit author of seven crime novels set in London’s East End. Previously published by Head of Zeus, her first title in a new series for Boldwood will be published  in June 2024.

Holly Hepburn is a bestselling author of romantic fiction set in idyllic locations. Also published by Simon & Schuster, she is now turning her hand to cosy crime inspired by Sherlock Holmes himself. The first of the titles in The Baker Street Mysteries series will be published by Boldwood in May 2024.

Emma Orchard is the author of several well-reviewed regency romance novels published by Allison & Busby. In her other life she is a literary agent. Her first book with Boldwood, a raunchy romp set in Regency London, will be published in May 2024.

Rebecca Raisin is the bestselling author of heartwarming romances, including Rosie’s Travelling Tea Shop. She lives in Perth, Australia and was previously published by HQ. The first book in her new series set in Paris will be published by Boldwood in July 2024.

Joanne Ryan is the author of several well-reviewed psychological thrillers. Previously published by Tamarillas Press, she lives in Wiltshire. Her first thriller for Boldwood, Keep Your Friends Close, will be published in January 2024.

Rachel Sweasey is a debut historical fiction novelist. She lives in Australia but bases her fiction in Poole where she grew up, which provides inspiration for her WW11 stories. Her first book for Boldwood, The Last Boat Home, will be published in April 2024.

Victoria Walters is the author of both cosy crime and romantic novels, including the bestselling Glendale Hall series. Previously published by Hera, she is now writing romantic comedies, the first of which will be published by Boldwood in February 2024.
